【AUS語学研修】 オーストラリア・シドニーへ語学研修の旅
オーストラリア・語学研修団 7月30日午前7時 三重高校出発
三年制の生徒17名と引率教師1名からなる語学研修一行は、7月30日〜8月6日の日程で、オーストラリア・ニューサウスウェールズ州のオーストラリア最大の都市、シドニー市の旅に出かけました。
語学研修団は、現地の一般家庭にホームステイさせていただきながら、英語の語学研修として現地校で、英語だけを使用しての学校生活・家庭生活を体験するものです。
一行は、7月30日、午前7時、バスで学校を出発。セントレアからタイのバンコク空港経由で、シドニーに向かいました。南半球にあるシドニーは、現在真冬で、朝晩かなり気温が下がるとのことで、生徒達の旅行用スーツケースには、セーターなど冬支度で出かけました。
なお、本校では、7月23日〜8月5日の日程で、六年制に在籍する中高生が、オーストラリア・クイーンズランド州ブリスベン市にある、本校の姉妹校2校《ACGS（男子校）・BGGS（女子校）》に18名が短期留学しています。そして、秋には、姉妹校の生徒達が本校に短期留学し、交流することになっています。
17 students and 1 teacher from our school left Matusaka for Sydney, the largest city in Australia on 30th of July. They are coming back on 6th of August.
The students can experience school life as well as family life during their homestay and while having lessons with their host brothers and sisters at school in Australia. They have been really looking forward to this school trip abroad.
They hopped in the coach and left our school at 7am on 30th of July. They headed for Sydney from Centrair by way of Bangkok. Sydney in Southern Hemisphere is now in winter. The temperature can drop considerably at night and in the morning. We do hope that the students didn’t forget to take their sweaters to keep themselves warm.
In addition to this tour, we have a short-term studying tour program at our two sister schools, ACGS ( Boys School ) and BGGS ( Girls School ) in Brisbane city, Queensland, Australia. In this autumn, we are going to accept some exchange students from sister schools in Australia. We can’t wait to meet new friends!
